Joshua Allen Harris has created some fantastic New York street art in the form animals made out of shopping bags positioned on subway street grates that cause them to periodically inflate and animate.

Today I saw this amazing art/engineering installation in Liverpool. Basically, they’ve cut a huge circle in the side of a disused building, through concrete and glass alike and hooked it up to a huge kind of pivot thingy that rotates the circular section. It’s pretty stunning and creates loads of optical illusions as it goes round. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
